Keelpilot

About

Founded on a single premise.

Pension funds need agentic tooling they can defend to a regulator. The technology is advancing faster than the governance around it — and in our industry, that gap is not acceptable.

We are building the governed layer institutional asset managers can adopt without asking their CRO to hold their breath. That is the short version of the thesis.

The longer version is that asset-allocation decisions are approaching the complexity ceiling of quarterly human cycles. The investable universe has widened; the cost of being wrong has not shrunk; and the expectation that an Investment Committee can be meaningfully across every position every quarter is, increasingly, a polite fiction.

Agentic systems compress that work — but only if they can be defended. A faster cycle that the CRO cannot sign off on is not faster; it is a liability waiting for its first bad quarter. Keelpilot is built for the people whose signatures go on the memo.

Stance

The company stance.

  • No L5 autonomy. The human signs. If a vendor tells you otherwise, ask who signs the memo.
  • No token-reselling. You hold the LLM vendor contract. Procurement already knows them.
  • No cost-per-cycle hand-waving. Real numbers under NDA, not in marketing copy.
  • No sales-first demos. A demo is a working system, delivered live by a principal, not an SDR handoff.
